The Opening dates for the Indian Film Festival 2010, Melbourne is 10th March. The festival kicks off at Cinema Nova in Melbourne before travelling to Sydney 12th March, Perth 25th March and Auckland 15th April. 

Melbourne will also see Bollywood Hindi films makers –

Rajkumar Hirani (director of the highest grossing Hindi film of all time 3 Idiots),

Imtiaz Ali, the director of Jab We Met & Love Aaj Kal. 

Sohail Khan, actor/producer/director , star of Main aur Mrs Khanna which was filmed in Melbourne and will have a special screening at Federation Square.
